Hello and thanks for landing here with me. This is my inaugural post for this, my newest blog. The content for the many posts to come will be mainly related to my experiences in Property Management over the past 24 years. What is Property Management, you ask? PM is the business of managing real property assets, such as apartment buildings, commercial space, and for some companies even private residences for absentee owners. I have personally worked only in the apartment sector and have some commercial experience as it pertained to managing businesses located in the apartment buildings. It’s a crazy career and a lot of crazy things go on every single day. It’s fairly high pressure and stressful and you are tied to your phone 24/7.

As we take this journey together, I will share my experiences, earned wisdom, and commentary on subjects like management, leadership, training, budgets, time management, stress management, and many more things I cannot think of at the moment.

Hello and Happy New Year 2023!

I am changing direction on this (little used) blog and will be including topics that I simply have something to say about. There might be some that are career related but there will also be my (potential) rants on healthcare, religion, electric vehicles, sports…and frankly whatever interests me that I feel I have something to say about. I am starting a podcast this year called As I See It with Laurie Mack where I will put myself out there in the hopes that something I say will either resonate with or help even one other person on this planet.
